Anesthesiologist - Red Deer

Alberta Health Services, Central Zone, and the Department of Anesthesia at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, invites applications for an Anesthesiologist to establish a full-time practice in the community of Red Deer.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Reside in and have their primary residence within the community of Red Deer;
• Obtain and maintain an AHS Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the Services;
• Abide by the AHS Medical Staff Bylaws, the AHS Medical Staff Rules and AHS policies;
• Provide call assistance as per call schedules, including full-time participation in the Anesthesia call schedule, as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta;
• Have completed, or be currently enrolled in an Anesthesiology residency program (in Canada preferred);

Desired Qualifications:

• Certified or eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certificate;
