Full-time Audiologist position available for our Toronto General Hospital and Yonge and Lawrence clinics!
Munk Hearing Centre at Toronto General Hospital, is the first and only full-service hearing aid dispensary for the University Health Network (UHN). We work closely with the Hearing and Balance Centre and the Department of Otolaryngology to address the hearing health care needs of our patients. We pride ourselves on offering unmatched service and having the knowledge and experience to provide care for even the most medically-complex patients. We are very excited to be bringing the same level of care into the community with our second location at Yonge and Lawrence.

Job Description
We are recruiting one full-time (1.0) audiologist for the Munk Hearing Centre. The successful applicant must be willing to split their time between our two clinics.

- They must be highly motivated, conscientious and reliable while also being compassionate and caring.
- They must also possess strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, along with problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- An ability to think outside-the-box and push the boundaries of practice would be an asset as we continue to grow and add services.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Audiology (required)
- Registered with CASLPO (required) and ADP (preferred)
- Experience with tinnitus or CAPD an asset
- Research skills an asset
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete audiological assessments
- Aural rehabilitation including hearing aid evaluations, dispensing and all appropriate follow-up/counselling (including for medically complex/surgical cases)
- Cerumen management (bedside and under microscopy, training to be provided)
- Hearing tests for ENT clinic
- Tinnitus Counselling
Professional Responsibilities
- Collaboration in development of best practice guidelines
- Participation in educational activities, including occasional after-hours opportunities
- Supervision and mentorship of students

While our main site operates within Toronto General Hospital, this is a non-union, non-UHN (University Health Network) position.
