Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy & Clinic Management
- Oversee and optimize all front-office and clinical operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement systems to support clinic growth, including expanded associate days, extended hours, and workflow improvements.
- Leverage dental software platforms such as Power Practice and Recall Max to streamline operations and enhance performance.
- Leadership & Team Engagement
- Lead, coach, and support a high-performing team through effective scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture by celebrating milestones (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries) and organizing team events such as holiday parties, BBQs, and outings.
- Support recruitment and hiring efforts, assessing candidates for alignment with the clinic’s culture and standards.
- Compliance, Safety & Patient Experience
- Ensure full compliance with provincial health regulations and internal policies, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and best practices.
- Deliver a seamless, professional, and welcoming experience for every patient, maintaining the clinic’s exceptional reputation.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Accurately manage payroll, accounts payable, and staffing budgets.
- Monitor financial indicators and operational data to drive performance improvements and cost efficiency.
- Marketing & Community Engagement
- Support local marketing efforts and promotional campaigns to increase clinic visibility and patient acquisition.
- Manage the clinic’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram), creating engaging content that reflects the clinic culture, events, promotions, and community involvement.
What You Bring:
- University or College Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a clinical, retail, or customer service setting, ideally in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Strength in people management, scheduling, and financial oversight.
- Business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and payroll.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and (ideally) experience with dental software systems.
- Committed to upholding health regulations and fostering a safe, compliant clinic environment.
- Flexibility to work hours that support both patients and the practice.
