Registered Dental Assistant (Part Time)

Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. We are very a friendly and culturally diverse office and are looking for candidate who can converse in other languages in addition to English.

Requirements:

• Two days (possibly one more day in the future).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RDA Level II an asset, however new grads will be considered.
• Relaxed and friendly and supportive environment.
• We provide training and support for the right candidate with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and patient education skills are essential.
• Chairside assisting involving general dental procedures like restorations, root canals, extractions, crown and bridges.
• Using computers to update Electronic patient records, charting.
• Taking x-rays, I/O photos, impressions, records.
• Undergoing common procedures like rubber dam and restorative band placements, provisional crown fabrications or willingness to learn them.
• Stocking/ordering supplies.
• General usage of any of the common dental software an asset.

Qualifications:

• Certification in an accredited Dental Assisting Program.
• Current CPR Certification.

The candidate is expected to be hard working, energetic, fast-learner, self-motivated, and optimistic personality. Your strengths will shine through in your attention to detail, friendly interactions, and in handling a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in communicating English mandatory, however knowledge of Hindi, Punjabi & Urdu would be an asset.
