Registered Dental Assistant - Dentrix Dental Care

The team at Dentrix Dental Care located in Calgary, Alberta are looking for a professional, compassionate and hard-working Registered/Certified Dental Assistant on a full-time basis.

The ideal Registered Dental Assistant for our team will be highly motivated to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival. They will contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the dental office through Clinical support, patient care, Sterilization & safety and administrative duties.

SCHEDULE:

30-38 hours per week

4 days one week 5 days the next.

Tuesday 11-6pm, Wednesday 11-6pm, Thursday 9-4pm, Friday 9-3 pm & Alternating Saturdays 9-3pm.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Completion of a Dental Assisting program is an asset
• 3 years of experience is required
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset. Compassionate and empathetic with all Patients of all ages
• Attention to detail, high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude
