Description

We are a well-established, family-oriented dental practice committed to delivering exceptional care in a warm, professional environment. Located in the heart of Georgetown, Ontario, our clinic prides itself on combining a welcoming atmosphere with the highest standards of dental service.

We are currently seeking a Level II Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled, and passionate about providing outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist in a wide range of procedures, including restorative, preventive, and surgical treatments
  • Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Accurately manage patient records and documentation using Abeldent software
  • Maintain efficient patient flow and support the overall clinic operations
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked dental environment
  • Provide compassionate, informative care to help patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment plans
  • Monitor inventory and manage supply orders as needed
  • Set priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Collaborate effectively with the dental team to deliver seamless, high-quality care

Qualifications

  • Certified Dental Assistant Level II (CDA II) – Required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in Canada
  • Proficient in Abeldent software, including patient charting, scheduling, and documentation
  • Strong knowledge of dental billing codes and clinical charting standards
  • Available to work three evenings per week
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute to Georgetown
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong team-oriented attitude
