We are currently seeking a Level II Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled, and passionate about providing outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist in a wide range of procedures, including restorative, preventive, and surgical treatments
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Accurately manage patient records and documentation using Abeldent software
- Maintain efficient patient flow and support the overall clinic operations
- Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked dental environment
- Provide compassionate, informative care to help patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment plans
- Monitor inventory and manage supply orders as needed
- Set priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to deliver seamless, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant Level II (CDA II) – Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in Canada
- Proficient in Abeldent software, including patient charting, scheduling, and documentation
- Strong knowledge of dental billing codes and clinical charting standards
- Available to work three evenings per week
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute to Georgetown
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong team-oriented attitude
