Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and appropriately implement patient care services.
  • Provide all preventive clinical hygiene services to patients, including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride application, placing sealants, and teeth whitening.
  • Be an oral health educator by introducing new prevention techniques and providing advice.
  • Provide a consistent patient experience during dental hygiene visits.
  • Establish strong relationships with patients while maintaining ethical professional behavior.
  • Retain patients by offering a customized experience that meets their expectations.
  • Demonstrate active listening and empathy toward patients using effective communication techniques.

Requirements:

  • Hold a dental hygiene diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Be registered and/or hold valid authorization from the appropriate dental hygiene regulatory body in your province.
  • Hold valid CPR certification.
  • Bilingual (French/English) – ideal.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
