Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and appropriately implement patient care services.
- Provide all preventive clinical hygiene services to patients, including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride application, placing sealants, and teeth whitening.
- Be an oral health educator by introducing new prevention techniques and providing advice.
- Provide a consistent patient experience during dental hygiene visits.
- Establish strong relationships with patients while maintaining ethical professional behavior.
- Retain patients by offering a customized experience that meets their expectations.
- Demonstrate active listening and empathy toward patients using effective communication techniques.
Requirements:
- Hold a dental hygiene diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Be registered and/or hold valid authorization from the appropriate dental hygiene regulatory body in your province.
- Hold valid CPR certification.
- Bilingual (French/English) – ideal.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
