Registered Dental Hygienist - Full Time/Part Time

The Bay Family Dental is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our busy and well-established practice. Both FULL TIME or PART TIME opportunities available, with a well-established patient base and full schedule from day 1! NEW GRADS WELCOME!!!

The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to their ongoing oral health. Must be both self-motivated and work well in a team environment.

The office has had recent upgrades to allow for a paperless environment, digital radiography, and iTero Scanner.

Responsibilities:

• Appropriately assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates services for patient care
• Performs all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counseling
• Providing a consistent patient experience during hygiene visit
• Establishes strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations
• Demonstrate active listening and empathy to patients using effective communication skills

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program
• Registered and/or licensed by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within the province; in good standing
• Valid CPR
