Family Medicine Physician - Lamont

Description:

Full-time rural family physician for the community of Lamont. Duties will include community clinic, ER Shifts including on-call, management of acute care patients, and long-term care patients (site of 105 beds). This physician will also be expected to assist in the OR as needed.

Qualifications:

• All physicians who wish to practice in Alberta must hold a valid and relevant license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
• Certificate of the College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
• Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (RCPSC)
• Certificate of the College of Family Physicians (CCFP) Emergency Medicine

Desired:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• MOREOB/Advances in Labour and Risk Management (ALARM)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
