This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.
Akamihk Health Care Services - Full time or Part Time Serving the Communities of: Leduc, Montana First Nation (Ponoka County), Eckville.
Job Description:
- Patient care services as family physician, diagnosing injury, illness, and disease in both new and returning patients.
- Interpreting X-ray's, laboratory results and other diagnostic reports.
- Assessing symptoms and conducting follow-up appointments when needed.
- Prescribing medicines and referring patients for specialized care.
- Looking for Physicians to deliver continuity of care in a patient medical home.
- Emergency shift could be available.
Qualifications:
- Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
- Degree in Medicine and The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, Registration (CPSA, Alberta)
