Are you looking for a vacation locum or perhaps a community change? Rocky Mountain House is looking for Summer 2026 Locums to work in our Family Medicine Clinic. If you love us, which we think you will, there are opportunities to stay and make Rocky Mountain House your new home.

We have opportunities for all Family Medicine skills including Clinic Only, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, and Obstetrics.

Come for a week or stay for the whole summer.

We offer a very competitive overhead rate of 25% on in Clinic work and 12% on Hospital work. Rocky Mountain House is also part of the Rural Remote Northern Program which offers an additional 15.2% top up on fee for service encounters. Rocky Medical Clinic is also part of the Rocky Mountain House Primary Care Network that offers a multidisciplinary team of RNs, LPNs, a Dietitian, and a Behavioural Consultant to support your patients with Chronic Disease Management, Prenatal Care, Referral Navigation, and Youth Mental Health supports.

Rocky Medical Clinic physicians support the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre. If you are interested in working in the ED, OR Assist, or providing Obstetrical Care, we have space for you.

Emergency Department Shifts are available Monday to Thursday and are broken down between Day 0700-1800 and Night 1800-0700 shifts. Weekend shifts are 2 shifts between 0700 Friday and 0700 Monday.

Weekend A Friday 0700-1800 and Saturday 1800-0700

Weekend B Friday 1800-0700 and Sunday 0700-1800

Weekend C Saturday 0700-1800 and Sunday 1800-0700
