Job Description:

Synergy Medical Group is looking for physicians interested in accepting new patients and building patient medical home practice. The successful candidate will build a panel to support the needs of the community and be able to work in an integrated care environment.

The clinic is located in Sherwood Park AB and is part of the Sherwood Park-Strathcona PCN. We offer physicians an enriching, collegial, and collaborative environment to provide care to a wide range of patients.

Physicians are supported by a team of MOAs, receptionists, and administrative staff that allow physicians to focus on care delivery. LPNs are integrated into the clinic to provide exemplary care to our patient population. Physicians at the clinic also participate in the PCPCM funding model.

Qualifications:

Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA. Qualifications and experience must comply with the CPSA licensure requirements and guidelines. Proof of CMPA coverage is required. Physicians must also be registered and members of the Alberta Medical Association.

Compensation: Physician compensation is based on fee-for-service payments. Applicants will be required to register for CII/CPAR and once the required threshold is achieved, the candidate will apply to Alberta Health to participate in the new Primary Care Physician Compensation Model (PCPCM).
