This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.
Job Description:
Provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals of all ages, including infants, children, adolescent, adults, and seniors, diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, mental health, addiction medicine, and respiratory disorders. Provide preventive care measures through regular health screening and make sure vaccination up to date. Perform in-office minor procedures if possible. Follow CPSA policies and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA. Physician must either hold a CPSA license or letter of eligibility from CPSA indicating they can take a sponsored position and are eligible to apply for the provincial register.
