Job Description:
Conducting medical assessments, making a diagnosis, developing a treatment plan, and following up:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of patients, infants, teenagers, adults, and seniors
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and review diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings
- Collaboratively work with other health care professionals including MOAs and Primary Care professionals
- Finish work on the same day, charting, reviewing results and messages, and billing
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic medical record systems
- Educate patients on health management and disease prevention strategies
- Able to do driver's medical exams and WCB
Qualifications:
- Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Empathetic person
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to patients
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
