This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care to patients, ensuring high-quality medical services that meet the diverse needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of illnesses and conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.

Qualifications:

• Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
• Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
• Valid license to practice medicine in Alberta.
• Current registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
• Proven experience as a Family Physician or in a similar role.

Compensation: We offer a competitive compensation package, reflective of experience and qualifications, utilizing a bill-for-service model. The average annual income for family physicians in Alberta ranges from $350,000 to $500,000. The specifics of the overhead structure will be discussed during the interview process with selected candidates.
