Job Description:

Haven Medical Centre is inviting applications from Family Physicians to join our full-service family practice located in Stony Plain, Alberta. We are a group family practice dedicated to team-based care. Due to a significant shortage of physicians in our community, a full panel of patient takeover is awaiting the successful candidate. These positions will accept applications from sponsorship eligible physicians and a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) will be provided for international medical graduates.

Start date: June 2, 2025

Qualifications:

• Successful Candidates will have a functional knowledge of resources and challenges in Alberta's primary health care system.
• This knowledge will be supported by the candidate having completed a two-year Family Medicine Residency and by ongoing community primary care experience.
• We are interested in candidates with superior interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and peer relationships.
• The successful candidate should be committed to fulfilling clinical and non-clinical duties as a representative of Family Medicine.
• The successful candidate must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians and of Canada and for medical licensure in the province of Alberta.
• A preference is for those who have already completed the TDM exams (if required due to your jurisdiction of training) please see the CPSA website for more detail.
