3-Month Locum Opportunity in FHO/FHT Practice in Dundas Posting #50-020-25
A solo FHO/FHT practice in the quaint town of Dundas is seeking a locum physician to provide coverage for the practice until September 2025. The successful candidate will be caring for a roster of approximately 1,500 - 1,600 patients and can expect to see less than 20 patients per full day.
As part of the Hamilton Family Health Team, this practice is well supported by a variety of Allied Health Professionals including a Nurse, Clinical Pharmacist, Social Worker/Mental Health Counsellor, Dietitian, and Psychiatrist. Administrative support is provided by a receptionist and an off-site office manager. The office is fully computerized and utilizes Telus PS Suite EMR for patient records.
The locum physician will have access to 2 exam rooms and an office, and parking is free for staff. The practice is also located next to a pharmacy.
The locum will receive a competitive daily stipend for this work.
