REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Medical degree from an accredited university, with additional certification in Family Medicine.
- License to practice with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Professional Experience
- Three to five years full-time primary care experience; experience in a community-based setting or combination of community and hospital or public health settings, an asset. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience and interest in working with marginalized and diverse clientele, such as low-income, high-needs, newcomer, and a variety of multicultural communities.
- Experience in a non-profit, community-based organization an asset.

- Thorough knowledge of and proficiency in current physical assessment and treatment methods.
- Ability to apply health promotion concepts, strategies, and philosophy.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant community resources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
