Shared Health (1502-155 Carlton Street, Winnipeg MB, R3C 5R9), and The University of Manitoba, Department of Pediatrics & Child Health (business addresses noted below), are inviting applications for a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to commence on April 1, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Main job duties include:
- Diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system in children
- Prescribing medications
- Ordering lab tests and x-rays and other diagnostic procedures
- Consulting with other physicians as required
These job duties encompass 70% of the position. The position encompasses inpatient and ambulatory patient care responsibilities and requires individuals with clinical and teaching skills to further the aims of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and tertiary care medicine. The incumbent joins the existing Peds GI team members and will share the service needs in the Section.
