General Surgeon - Rocky Mountain House
Description
Alberta Health Services, Central Zone, and the Department of General Surgery at the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre, invites applications for a General Surgeon to establish a full-time practice in the community of Rocky Mountain House Health Centre. This successful candidate will provide a range of general surgical procedures and is expected to perform c-sections when requested by other obstetrical providers in the Operating Room, dependent on their qualifications. They will also provide community consultations and be a part of the OR call schedule.

Required Qualifications:
- Have or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (required with application);
- Have certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (RCPSC);
- Have specialty certification or equivalent in General Surgery, or currently be enrolled in a General Surgery Residency Program;
- Recent and relevant experience (within the past 12 months) in all areas of practice required, as the Most Responsible Physician;
