Community General Surgeon

Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) in Alliston, Ontario, is seeking a full-time general surgeon to join our dedicated surgical team. Serving the community of New Tecumseth and the surrounding areas for over 70 years, SMH is a well-established hospital with a strong commitment to providing high-quality healthcare.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in a broad range of general surgical procedures, including but not limited to: perianal surgeries, endoscopy/colonoscopy, appendectomy, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, and other acute care surgeries. There will also be opportunities to engage in colorectal and breast cancer care. This position offers home-call for on-call duties.

Excitingly, SMH has been approved for phase 2 redevelopment, with construction expected to begin in 2025, providing further growth and modernization opportunities.
