Division Director and Clinical Section Head, Geriatric Medicine
The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine, in partnership with Acute Care Alberta, Continuing Care Alberta and Covenant Health, invites applications for an Internal Medicine accredited Geriatrician to be based at the University of Alberta Hospital. Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, part of the College of Health Sciences is internationally recognized as among the world’s top 50 medical schools and as one of Canada’s premier health-education institutions.

About the Division of Geriatric Medicine:
- One of fourteen divisions in the Department of Medicine
- 14 geriatricians providing specialized services
- Research areas include incontinence, frailty, peri-operative care, and dementia
Key Requirements:
- MD with certification in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
- Recognized research and educational scholarship portfolio
Responsibilities:
- Academic and clinical leadership
- Collaboration with other divisions and healthcare providers
- Development of strategic clinical plans

Compensation:
Remuneration based on the Academic Medicine Health Services Program (AMHSP), ranging from $300,000 to $800,000 per year.
