Internal Medicine Specialist (PRA-SP Applicants may be considered)

The Northern Health Region is currently seeking a 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) Internal Medicine Specialist to practice in a multidisciplinary environment in Thompson, Manitoba. The position will entail work in both a hospital and clinic setting along with on-call responsibilities.

The Northern Health Region is geographically the largest of the five Regional Health Authorities in the province of Manitoba and has a population of 72,000 people spread over 396,000 km², resulting in a population density of 0.18 persons per km². Mining, hydro-electric development, forestry, commercial fishing, trapping, transportation, and tourism are the major industries in the Region.
