Covenant Health in partnership with Alberta Health Services and the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, invites applications for Locum General Internists to be based primarily at the Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. In collaboration with their Internal Medicine colleagues, the successful candidates will deliver high quality, detail-oriented inpatient and outpatient care to patients served by the Misericordia Community Hospital.

Required:

• MD or equivalent.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
• Certification in General Internal Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
• Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety.
• Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the healthcare environment.
• Understanding of Just Culture and its role in healthcare.
