Registered Massage Therapist

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with the area's highly respected rehabilitation care providers. They are in search of a Registered Massage Therapist in Kitchener Waterloo.

Full-time preferred or flexible hours.

$50 up to $70/hour

The Registered Massage Therapist will work within a state-of-the-art healthcare facility in conjunction with a team of Sports Medicine Physicians, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and Orthopedic Surgeons in an environment that promotes daily collaboration among our team of practitioners.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Practice evidence-based massage therapy
• Utilize professional judgment and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Communication with clients, team members, and others to achieve collaboration and service coordination.
• Provide appropriate treatment for patients based on assessment findings and patient feedback.
• Participate in program development, to support health and wellness for individuals, groups, and communities.

Education:

• Registered, and in good standing, with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
• Knowledge of different massage techniques and their benefits
• Strong orthopedic skills with a background in strength and conditioning
