The successful applicant will join academic pediatric neurologists, developmental pediatricians, and pediatric physiatrists in providing a full spectrum of clinical services.
This position is a 1.0 full-time equivalent. The position will clinical commitment to Stollery Children’s Hospital, the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, and the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Training & certification in the electroencephalogram interpretation is an asset.
Clinical Responsibilities include:
- Pediatric Neurology inpatient and outpatient clinical services, including but not limited to Inpatient consultation and follow up (General service, Neuro-Critical Care Service), General and subspecialty outpatient clinics, as well as the On Call schedule.
- Pediatric Neurology consultation for diagnostic assessments and follow-up at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital (GRH)
- +/- Pediatric Neurology EEG *(Based on qualification)
Qualifications:
Interested applicants must have:
- MD degree (or equivalent)
- Completed subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology
- Must be certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. See the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for more information on various routes of credentialing (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada).
- Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).

- Compensation: Remuneration for this position is based on the Academic medicine & Health Services Program (AMHSP). Salary will be commensurate with education and experience and ranges based on a number of different factors; the mean is $349,009.92 per year. Total compensation for AMHSP varies by individual practitioner, and the compensation shown reflects the average amounts for this specialty as reported by Alberta Health.
