Job Title: Registered Nurse
Location: Medicentres Canada Inc - Northwest Calgary, Calgary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Medicentres Canada Inc - Northwest Calgary, Calgary. This is a permanent, full-time position with mandatory on-call duties. The successful candidate will be a key member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves approximately 30 patient hours per week. Compensation will be salaried, with arrangements such as ARP and Group Contracts.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. You will also administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. You may advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health problems and needs
• Develop and implement nursing care plans
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Alberta
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
