Come work as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lady Minto Hospital on Salt Spring Island! Island Health is seeking Licenced Practical Nurses to join the Lady Minto Hospital team. Multiple openings are available, including full-time, part-time, casual, and temporary positions.

Salt Spring Island, the largest of the southern Gulf Islands, is located off the east coast of Vancouver Island. QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN.

Skills And Abilities

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with residents, families, co-workers, members of the multidisciplinary team, and the public.
  • Deal with others effectively.
  • Organize work and implement a plan of care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice as currently required by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, including administering medications.
  • Operate related equipment.
  • Physically carry out the duties of the position.
