Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our rapidly growing consumer health tech startup expanding into Canada. This role will execute the delivery of clinician services for existing products (lab testing, MRI imaging). This includes asynchronously reviewing a member’s medical history, conducting telehealth consultations, reviewing and generating radiology and lab orders, and the delivery of urgent and/or sensitive result communications. Additional responsibilities include administrative tasks and documentation, such as collaborating in the development of SOPs for existing and future services.

Key Responsibilities
- Document calls and communications in the EHR in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Available to provide after-hours and weekend support for lab-related critical results, as needed, recognizing that such communications are rare and typically occur during business hours.
- Asynchronously review member’s medical history and conduct telehealth consultations.
- Review and generate radiology and/or lab orders.
- Review members’ imaging studies and lab results to prepare reports and summaries.
- Collaborate in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide feedback to help improve clinical workflows.
Qualifications/Skills
- Licensed in Ontario and/or British Columbia.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the healthcare industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of patient care, clinical workflows, and operational excellence.
- Strong familiarity with comprehensive lab testing and MRI imaging, including interpreting results and understanding their role in preventive and diagnostic care.
- Hands-on experience in telemedicine and virtual care environments, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality patient interactions in digital settings.
- Proficient in telehealth platforms and adept at navigating multiple digital tools, such as Zoom, Slack, and EMR systems, ensuring seamless communication and care coordination.
