Candidates are invited to apply for the position detailed below at Extendicare Michener Hill, a continuing care facility located in Red Deer, Alberta. This facility is home to 220 Continuing Care beds and 60 Designated Assisted Living Beds.
Reporting to: Director of Care
Registered nurses use critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to provide compassionate and safe patient care.

- Specialty skills (i.e., IV, Palliative)
- Proficiency with computers
- Comprehensive knowledge in areas of wound management, infection control, dementia care, least restraint, and zero lift practices
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible registration with CARNA
- 1 year LTC experience
- 1 – 2 years Clinical experience
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with MDS 2.0
- Familiarity with PointClickCare
- CPR and First Aid Certification considered an asset
