Role Description
We are looking for Full-time or part-time roles for Registered Nurses in Waterdown, ON. There are positions for circulating RNs for the operating room as well as RNs for PACU. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medication, monitoring patient health, and maintaining accurate patient records. Additional responsibilities include educating patients and their families about health conditions, assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ontario
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Experience in administering medication and monitoring patient health
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records
- Experience in educating patients and families about health conditions and treatments
- Ability to perform diagnostic tests and assist in procedures
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent education preferred
