Role Description:
This is a part-time on-site role for a Pharmacist, located in Okotoks, AB. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and delivering travel health advice. Daily tasks include verifying prescriptions, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Pharmacist will also coordinate with healthcare providers and assist in managing the pharmacy’s daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy and Pharmacology knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Ability to manage inventory and maintain records
- Proficiency in providing travel health advice
- Current pharmacist license in Alberta
- Additional prescribing authorization
- Experience in kroll system is a plus
- Injection certification
