Position Summary
We are currently seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have experience using Filware pharmacy software and a strong background in retail pharmacy operations. This role involves dispensing prescriptions, ensuring patient safety, managing pharmacy workflow, and providing exceptional customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately review, prepare, and dispense prescriptions using Filware software
- Counsel patients on medication usage, interactions, and side effects
- Maintain compliance with provincial pharmacy regulations and standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy assistants and technicians to ensure efficient daily operations
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and stock control
- Provide outstanding service and professional advice to patients and healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
- Experience with Filware pharmacy software is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
- Prior experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting is an asset
