Royal Inland Hospital (RIH), located in Kamloops, B.C., has an immediate relief full-time Physiotherapist opening. This position is to provide coverage until January 2025, or the return of the incumbent.

RIH is one of two Interior Health tertiary referral hospitals. RIH offers high-level, specialty medical care including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services. Specialty services include ambulatory psychiatry, elderly mental health, clinical nutrition, and lung health. In the summer of 2022, the Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Tower at RIH opened, signifying a new era for RIH, with a new main entrance and modern hospital tower with staff and services such as obstetrics, mental health & substance use, surgical services, rehabilitation, medical, neurosciences, and trauma moving into the new tower.
Physiotherapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription, and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. Days of work include weekdays, weekends, and statutory holidays. Shift times are 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
