In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health), patient and staff safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary health care team providing care in a multi-site organization, the Physiotherapist assesses, treats, educates and manages patients/clients receiving physical therapy services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education, Training And Experience
Graduate of a recognised Physiotherapy Program; Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC); and Knowledge of current Physical Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice; and Two (2) years recent, related experience; or An equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid British Columbia Driver's license.
