What will you do?
- The Physiotherapist plans, organizes, and directs diverse programs of treatment, counseling, screening, and education for ONTARIO HEALTH ATHOME Champlain Patients in a variety of settings (in homes and retirement homes)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides physiotherapy services to ONTARIO HEALTH ATHOME Champlain patients through initial assessment, identification of problems, establishment of goals and treatment plans, implementation of physio treatment, follow-up, and management of the patient’s condition.
- Establishes priorities and treatment goals with respect to identified problems and develops methods of achieving these goals.
- Ensures that clinical records are maintained in accordance with ONTARIO HEALTH ATHOME Champlain Policies and Procedures and the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Starting Salary: $44.480 to $51.340

What must you have?
- Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy and current certificate of registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Related professional experience which would normally be attained over a period of two years in a Physiotherapy role
- Related experience in a similar community-based setting is an asset
What would give you the edge?
- Knowledge of health care system and the role of the ONTARIO HEALTH ATHOME Champlain within the system
- Effective planning and organizing skills to manage multiple patients, provide information reports, and take corrective action as required
Hours of Work Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 4:30pm (35hrs/week)
