Summary:

Bayshore Integrated Care Solutions

The Physiotherapist, under the direction of the Manager of Rehabilitation or Clinical Manager- Branch level, is responsible for completion of professional activities that include: assessment, treatment, education, development of home exercise programs, supervision of Rehabilitation Assistants (RAs), and management of clients requiring Physiotherapy intervention, in accordance with professional standards.

16 week home rehab program with a focus on maintaining client’s safety and well-being in their homes utilizing a client-centered approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of client’s mobility in home settings.
  • Development and assignment of home exercise programs to RAs.
  • Reassessment at the mid-way point to evaluate changes and adjust programs.
  • Final discharge assessment at the end of the 16 weeks.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Assessment, evaluation, and revision of treatment programs.
  • Maintenance of accurate clinical records.
  • Collaboration with other healthcare team members.
  • Communication of pertinent information and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Maintain good standing with the Provincial College of Physiotherapists.
  • Participate in ongoing education activities.
  • Adhere to Bayshore Healthcare policies.
  • Participate in quality and safety activities.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • Current registration with the provincial College of Physiotherapists.
  • Prior experience with in-home assessments and treatments.
