Physiotherapy and Beyond, a respected outpatient practice serving the Port Credit/Clarkson community since 2001, is seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Physiotherapist to join our team. For the past year, we've been operating from our new, modern clinic space strategically located within a comprehensive medical building. Our multidisciplinary team offers Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy, Osteopathy, Occupational Therapy, and Kinesiology services. About the Role:
This on-site role in Mississauga, ON, offers the chance to make a real impact on patients' lives. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, one-on-one manual therapy, primarily focusing on orthopaedic cases, while also gaining exposure to a diverse range of conditions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments.
- Developing and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Delivering effective manual therapy sessions.
- Educating patients on their conditions and empowering them with self-management strategies.
- Diligently monitoring and meticulously documenting patient progress.
What We're Looking For:
Strong proficiency in Manual Therapy and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong patient rapport and effective collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals.
Demonstrated ability to create and execute tailored treatment plans.
Knowledge of vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and other specialized physiotherapy areas is considered an asset.
Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
A genuine commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification.
Experience in pediatric physiotherapy would be a significant advantage and is highly desirable.
