Responsibilities/Duties:
The successful candidate will have an MD and must hold specialization in General psychiatry.
They must be eligible for licensure in the province of Alberta.
The successful candidate will join an existing community psychiatric practice in the city of Airdrie.
They are expected to establish and maintain a full-time community psychiatric practice.
The candidate is also expected to utilize Telehealth and other forms of telecommunication for patient assessment, management, and consultation when required.
They will also contribute to and participate in teaching activities as well as other administrative responsibilities as required.

Community Info: Pearl Specialist Clinic, Airdrie is a community clinic that provides psychiatric and primary health services to the communities of Airdrie, Calgary, Crossfield, Carstairs, Olds, Didsbury, Cochrane, and its environs. The clinic recently moved to a bigger space to accommodate the care needs of the community. The clinic currently has a team of specialist psychiatrists, family physicians, registered psychiatric nurses, and mental health clinicians. The beautiful city of Airdrie where the clinic is located has a growing young and adult population and is in close proximity to the city of Calgary.
