Inpatient Psychiatrist Unit 21, FMC

Foothills Medical Centre is recruiting an adult inpatient psychiatrist for Unit 21. The successful candidate may also be expected to participate in providing day-time coverage in the Emergency Room. Applicants trained/skilled in ECT and able to participate in the ECT-service at Foothills Medical Service will be heavily favoured. Additional outpatient and day hospital roles can be negotiated. The successful applicant will be part of the on-call activities at Foothills Medical Centre. The successful applicant will also participate in educational activities (students and residents).

Qualifications:

• The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and Permanent Residents will be given priority.
