Description
The Psychiatric Adult Service (PAS) at the FMC is currently seeking a full-time Psychiatrist or 2 part-time Psychiatrists. We are an adult outpatient program that services the FMC and RGH emergency departments. We see referrals within 2-4 weeks. Patients present with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and comorbid substance use disorders.
We work in a collaborative model of care with a team of skilled therapists. We also train medical students and psychiatry residents. Each new assessment involves a Psychiatrist and a therapist and/or student. Patients are then offered up to 12 individual therapy sessions along with medication management by the Psychiatrist. Our program also offers a DBT group and an ADHD Skills group.
Providing call coverage approximately once per month
