Description: The Unit Clerk performs a variety of duties in support of the health care team including processing physician orders and liaising with other departments. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Must have a Certificate from a recognized training program which includes a practicum component. A course in Medical Terminology is required. Must have at least two to three years directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications: Unit Clerk certificate preferred. Recent related Continuing Care or hospital experience. Connect care experience.
